Davai po novoi Nikol vse huinya! / Nikol, It’s all fucked up!(2025) is a road movie/documentary that follows the intertwined lives of two young women, a Bulgarian and an Ukrainian, who go on a trip to the active war zone area of Donbas from the Ukrainian side. They are determined to document war crimes while hiding from enemy’s drones, exchanging knowledge about first aid and driving, practicing Bulgarian witchcraft to protect the soldiers and civilians, vaping, and petting a lot of cats on the way. A heartbreaking story of courage and resistance, in the course of which the two strangers - Nikol and Lexi - become close friends and learn to navigate through destruction. Everything is first-person in this documentary, from the feelings and the sentiments to the very real fear of death.
